CNM was formed by a therapist just like you. Alan has a passion for supporting people to grow and be successful and wants to share his knowledge and experience with the members of this site.
Although we may have all been through different training, CPD days, Placements, personal counselling, and each of us had different life experiences.
There is one thing that unites us all and that is the desire to sit in front of people and help support them with their emotional well-being.
Our sister company is called Horizon Counselling, Alan formed this company after his training with the goal of providing accessible and flexible support for those that needed it. Building A successful busy practice providing support, encouragement, and a safe space for thousands of clients.
Do you feel that the training we undertake prepares you for the real work of getting clients, advertising ourselves, telling people where we are and the service we provide or how much we need to spend on doing this?
After all the expense of our training, all the hours spent writing essays, doing assignments, skills practices, revising, and taking exams the least we could expect is a queue of clients wanting our services or the phone ringing off the hook as clients rush for all this amazing knowledge we now have.
So, we do some advertising, print some leaflets, business cards of course, maybe an advert in the paper or why don’t we sign ourselves up to this or that directory as they claim to provide clients so that should work right?
Yes, if we are lucky, we may get some clients but what do we really get for those fees?
CNM was formed with the aim of offering something different, offering you something for those membership fees.
By using Alan’s knowledge of business and of building a successful practice, his skills and knowledge of sales and customer services, and expertise and experience as a therapist and in management. CNM aims to provide you with the ability to build your therapy practice.
